家長服務辦法始於1989年, 其目的在於鼓勵與協助家長對於校務的參與. 服務辦法簡介:
The Parent’s Service Point Policy was established in 1989 to encourage and guide the parent’s participation. The policy is summarized below: consult the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for details.
- 每一家庭於註冊時, 應繳服務保證金。保證金款數應家庭學生總人數而訂。19 歲以上的學生及爾灣中文學校老師不須保證金。
A service point deposit is collected during registration. The deposits amount varies depending on the total number of students per family. Deposit waived for students
ages 19 or older, and for teachers of Irvine Chinese School.
- 家長於註冊時或開學一月內填寫志願工作表, 家長會據表分配工作。
Each family needs to turn in the service point sign up form at the registration or during the first month of the school year.
- 每學年度每一家庭一定要在各 位家長須在學生班上至少輪值一次, 否則會被罰$30。
Parents are required to serve as Room Parent at least once per child during the school year. Otherwise, a $30 fine will be charged.
- 有一位學生在學的家庭需完成二十點, 有一位以上學生在學的家庭需完成三十點。
20 service points are required for families with one student and 30 points are required for families with two or more students.
- 點數以每一小時服務一點為原則。
As a general guideline, one service point is issued for each hour served.
- 點數會於每季公佈俾便與家長之記錄相互核對查證。
Submitted points will be published on a quarterly basis for verification.
- 服務保證金將以年底照服務總點數處理。 如果家長無法完成服務點數,將會在保證金中扣除你未能完成的服務點數轉換的金額。
The deposit will be rolled over to the next year upon completion of the service. If you
were unable to complete service points, you will be given credit for the points you
service and the non-completed points will be deducted out of the deposit.
